“1. Each press release share generates 2 new views; expands total audience by 70%.
2. Press releases are shared more on Facebook, but Twitter sharing drives more traffic.
3. Multimedia press releases generate 3.5 times more engagement than text-only releases.”—How Social Are Your Press Releases? | Visual.ly
Do you have a new shop/store opening in your center? Take a look at what we started doing on Tuesday at Glen Eagle Square in Glen Mills, PA where they will soon welcome a White House|Black Market to the center. Each Tuesday and Thursday through the opening date of WH|BM (November 23rd), we are giving fans the chance to win a $50 gift card on the GES Facebook page by participating in our trivia or fan engagement questions.
The first post we did was simple, “Like this post to be entered to win.”
The bi-weekly questions are helping the shoppers get excited for the new tenant and interact with the page. All questions are either straightforward or are easily answered with a simple Google search (and more easily answered if you aren’t first - see the example from yesterday’s post).
We have already seen a spike in fans and there have only been two of five posts challenges done. We look forward to seeing the final payoff from this $250 investment on the 22nd!
Do you have a new store or shop coming to your center? Let me know and we can brainstorm a way to hype it on your page, too!
